In most cases outdoor uplighter are sitting in the ground. Sometimes this is not the best possible solution. For example if you want to avoid that shifting mulch or soil will cover the uplighter in a flower bed it is better to use an above ground version. Also suitable to place it on retaining walls or concrete slabs. Below above ground uplighters are made by WIBRE, Germany in 316L stainless steel. Customizations are possible.
