Prahran Square is the $60+ million transformation of the old Cato Street car park in Prahran into almost 10,000m² of multifunctional urban parkland with over 500 spaces of underground car parking.
It is one of the largest, most ambitious and exciting construction projects ever delivered in the City of Stonnington.
Form and Light supplied 28pcs custom media/art poles as specified from RAMUS and 40 pcs multi-functional light poles with integrated WI-FI, CCTV, functional lighting and some even with sewage vents.

As part of the Newcastle smart city strategy, Newcastle is upgrading the East End street lighting with smart multi-functional poles from HESS, Germany.
Functional LED lighting for the P and V categories combined with CCTV cameras, public WIFI, speakers and decorative lighting elements are going to replace the old HID street lights. All in one attractive, minimalistic pole design package. No clutter on the poles, no brackets, outreaches etc. Everything is integrated into the pole.
The smart controls of the street lights is done via a CMS from TVILIGHT, managed in the cloud.

State of the Art Lighting Technology
ACCADIA is a LED in-ground luminaire product line from HESS, Germany, for façade lighting and wall accenting. The centerpiece of the versatile products is a special Bartenbach-designed reflector. In the asymmetric versions, they provide indirect light with no glare and excellent light distribution – which is currently unique amongst in-ground luminaires.
Light as a Means of Enhancing Architecture
Light plays an increasingly important role as a creative and atmospheric design element: Skillfully deployed, light not only stages attractions, but also makes a significant contribution, as a stylistic means, to the architecture of public spaces and parks.
The HESS ACCADIA product line enables architects and designers to effectively accentuate and stage building façades and architectural features such as columns, arches and sculptures, as well as trees and plants.
HESS ACCADIA In-ground Up-lighters for all Applications
Outstanding lighting results are guaranteed by the reflector technology: unique facet and “spoon reflectors”, developed by Bartenbach, ensure extremely homogeneous light distribution starting from the bottom edge of a surface to be illuminated, without the previously common “dark zones”. The adjustable reflector inclination, either on site or in the factory, ensures best adaptation to the projects.
The product line is available in round and rectangular versions, in five different sizes and wattages from 10W to 27W. All versions are available in different LED configurations for asymmetrical and symmetrical light distributions. Available light colours are 3000K, 4000K and 5700K.

The product families are intended for smaller outdoor applications “around the house” where architectural designed luminaires with high quality are desired. A streamlined, modern, eye-catching design, combined with the latest LED technology for easy maintenance and installation is the result.
Either strict round or square design elements were utilized for the Fidenza, Genua and Padua models and a combination of these for the Carini luminaire.

Sydney, NSW, August 27, 2013 – Newly incorporated company Form and Light Pty Ltd was appointed as the exclusive distributor for HESS and also as the agency for WIBRE for Australia and NZ. HESS is a German manufacturer of architectural designed exterior light fittings – the German company WIBRE specialises in underwater luminaires for commercial applications like pools, water features and bridges.
After going through some uncertain times HESS will be taken over by Nordeon by way of an asset deal effective 1/10/2013.
HESS, well known as the manufacturer of architectural designed high quality outdoor luminaires has decided to focus on the European countries and to appoint strategic distributors in most other countries. As a result Form and Light was chosen as the exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand.

ACCADIA is a LED in-ground luminaire product line from HESS, Germany, for façade lighting and wall accenting. The centerpiece of the versatile products is a special Bartenbach-designed reflector. After going through some uncertain times HESS will be taken over by Nordeon by way of an asset deal effective 1/10/2013.

As part of the Newcastle smart city strategy, Newcastle is upgrading the East End street lighting with smart multi-functional poles from HESS, Germany.
Functional LED lighting for the P and V categories combined with CCTV cameras, public WIFI, speakers and decorative lighting elements are going to replace the old HID street lights. All in one attractive, minimalistic pole design package. No clutter on the poles, no brackets, outreaches etc. Everything is integrated into the pole.
The smart controls of the street lights is done via a CMS from TVILIGHT, managed in the cloud.

Sydney, NSW, August 27, 2013 – Newly incorporated company Form and Light Pty Ltd was appointed as the exclusive distributor for HESS and also as the agency for WIBRE for Australia and NZ. HESS is a German manufacturer of architectural designed exterior light fittings – the German company WIBRE specialises in underwater luminaires for commercial applications like pools, water features and bridges.
After going through some uncertain times HESS will be taken over by Nordeon by way of an asset deal effective 1/10/2013.
HESS, well known as the manufacturer of architectural designed high quality outdoor luminaires has decided to focus on the European countries and to appoint strategic distributors in most other countries. As a result Form and Light was chosen as the exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
In a further development it was announced that Nordeon takes over all assets necessary for the continuation of business operations of Hess AG at the site in Germany by way of an asset deal effective 1st October, 2013 and that Hess will remain as site and as highly esteemed brand for architectural designed luminaires of high quality. Nordeon is a manufacturer of technical-functional interior and exterior light fittings and its site in Springe is considered as Europe’s biggest manufacturing plant for the production of professional LED-luminaires.
